RVHEA publishes a newsletter, Learning At Home, as a resource for home educators in the Ottawa area. Ten issues per year are distributed by mail to all members at no cost.  Learning At Home is also available by subscription at $50 annually for 10 issues.

Each issue is brimming with encouraging and informative articles as well as news of activities in the Greater Ottawa/Rideau Valley area that would be of interest to homeschooling families. Regular features of the newsletter include:

• - the Junior LAHer Corner, which showcases the creativity and work of our homeschooled children;
• - Prayer Items; and
• - Favourite Homeschooling Freebies.

Member ads and vendor advertisements provide a means of buying and selling teaching materials.
