Biography: Samantha attended Trent University for a Bachelor of Science (Biology - Psychology) and was in the Trent-Queens Concurrent Education Program. She was an elementary school teacher for 7 years before she educated her two daughters from kindergarten to high school. Both her daughters are dyslexic, and Samantha approached their learning with as many different approaches as possible. She always made sure that learning was active, meaningful and fun. Samantha is a passionate advocate for home education and has spent many years supporting and encouraging home educators, both in one on one relationships and as aconference speaker. She believes that homeschooling is both possible and beneficial through all grades and ages. Samantha is excited to have this opportunity to help families with exceptional needs navigate the challenges of home education, so that they can continue to homeschool with confidence and purpose.
